L1 AND L2
Two locations, tw great big stores, two places chock-full of the very best gear anywhere and the very best staff ever assembled in retail.

Our newest pride and joy is number 2 Donald, opened one year after our historic move to open a second location at 1765 Kenaston. A labor of love that will allow us to serve you even better. Two stores, one great staff, one tremendous legacy.

The old store had been around since the 70's and it'd been an icon for many Winnipegger's... Sad as it may be, it was time to exit the old lady and move our downtown store to bigger, better space. The roof was leaking, the space was cramped, the air conditioners were not keeping up... Let's face it, history is a good thing provided the place doesn't start smelling moldy.

Our sweet new location at Number Two Donald provides us with a great new spot to continue taking care you and your family with the quality and service you've come to expect from Gord's. The move will be finalized on October 1 so if you have a moment, why not drop by and check out our new digs... We'd be honored to show you around the next step in our constant evolution.

Drop on by at either store, Our newly moved down-town store (just across the street from our old shop) at #2 Donald and the big store at 1765 Kenaston It's the next step in Gord's evolution. 8000 sq. ft of the same stuff you're used to from Gord's. Only more of it. Like more casual clothing, more footwear, more bikes, more skis, cross-country skis (yep, you read right: Cross Country Skis!), more of the best snowboards as well a new state-of the art tech shop. It's a big thing for us. Hopefully it'll be a big thing for you. With more space we'll be better suited to take care of your needs, better suited to keep our promise of providing you with the best clothing and equipment at the best prices... coupled with what we like to think is the very best best service anywhere.

So come on down to either location and visit but make a special trip to come check out our new location on Kenaston at Scurfield,

These are very exciting times here at Gord's Ski and Bike... And like Martha used to say before prison: "It's a good thing".

2007 RETAILER OF THE YEAR
Mike and JF were testing Nordica skis at Sunshine Village in a foot or so of fresh snow when we got the news.

Every year the Snow sports Industries America honors a retailer from each territory, in Canada and the US. This year we are very much honored that they chose Gord's Ski and Bike as the recipient for Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside. "SIA is pleased to announce the latest winners of the SIA Canadian Snow Sports Retailer of the Year awards.  Each of these awards recognizes those retailers and reps that have consistently made a significant impact in the snow sports industry.  The Canadian awardees hail from six territories.  All winners were voted on by suppliers and reps in the snow sports industry." Needless to say we're quite honored that our hard work and dedication to doing it right by you has been recognized.

Of course this would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our amazing customers and our tremendous reps and suppliers... Not to mention our sensational staff. We read about this in a general communique from the SIA and we're still wondering what kind of toaster they give out with this distinction. Hopefully it's a four-slice model.

If you haven't been to Gord's in a while, drop on by, see what all the hubbub is about. We'd love to get to know you and show you around our new second location on Kenaston.
